🔑 Key topics and solutions discussed:

• Access to areas aimed at preserving biodiversity and maintaining natural spaces
• Recognition of the environmental services provided by horses
• Establishing a forage balance sheet
• Optimizing feeding costs through nutritional analysis and feed control
• Business strategy: early detection of future potential and anticipatory sale of animals with lower prospects
• Analysis of farm management and business plans
• Building a strong identity for equine farms

Each solution was assessed using the previously shared evaluation grid, considering performance, resilience to major sectoral challenges, and cost-benefit analysis.

During the day, participants also visited the Mont-le-Soie site, where they discovered newly planted hedges (2 and 3 rows of diverse species), the draft horses hosted at the Centre, and the foals of the year. This was a great opportunity for informal exchanges with members of the NSTB (National Scientific and Technical Board).
